can you get the leaky fittings off the system with those rubber couplers?Yanbbrox;2217651; said:Pipe from main slide valve to 90 leaks
Pipe from 90 to vortex one leaks

Seal into vortex 2 leaks

Looks like I've spent the past month welding pipes that are just going to get ripped up and thrown out, I don't have the cash to replace them all and basically have no idea what to do or where to go from here.
Bad day all round, the silver lining is that the underground pipework doesn't seem to be leaking or it would be truly game over
Yes they'll come off, the bits on the drain system can come off as well but it does mean deconstructing all the bracing a bit a time.zennzzo;2217700; said:can you get the leaky fittings off the system with those rubber couplers?
See if you can call them, and specifically ask them if it will work for your application...pond plumbing on PVC pipe and couplings...if it does your in the chips...Yanbbrox;2218170; said:Yes they'll come off, the bits on the drain system can come off as well but it does mean deconstructing all the bracing a bit a time.
I've just read your pm so I'm still digesting that as well. My Dad came round with an epoxy called milliput, used to seal just about everything and sets like rock and can even be used underwater: http://www.milliput.co.uk/ If it can go inside and outside the welds that could work as well.
Thanks Zen, so simple, give them a ringzennzzo;2218213; said:See if you can call them, and specifically ask them if it will work for your application...pond plumbing on PVC pipe and couplings...if it does your in the chips...
There is some stuff here called "JB-Weld" that does stick to PVC, if you want to go this route...
