Lutino has at least a hint of black on them, particularly the edges of the fins.

Albino (when it comes to oscars) is white and either with tiger markings or just white like yours but no black and no red eyes, orangish doesn't count as red.

True Albino is all white with red eyes, red like blood, and no other markings.
Actually, it is more of a reddish pink than a blood red.

what size tank do you have him in with that red belly pacu, those things get gigantuous
Actually most RB pacus I've had have never gone beyond 14" (not saying they don't get bigger) though a friend of mine kept black pacus which got huge.

You will need a bigger tank, I gotta admit that oscar is gorgeous, one of the nicest I've ever seen. The nicest I saw looked similar just had black tipped fins, simply gorgeous.

Albinism is the lack of a color of pigment. An oscar with no black but with red markings is still a true albino because it has no black pigment. An oscar with no red but with black markings is also a true albino because it lacks red pigment.

The term albino isn't as straightforward as peoeple think, especially when you start to deal with reptiles. Albino blood and reticulated pythons are usually black-albino but still tend to be very very colorful snakes.

i thought mine was an albino when i bought it, then i realized that the black eyes arent albino eyes. now his fins have turned black on the edges. guess i should delete the ? on my signature next to the oscar.
