New 'Snow' Oscar

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i had a "stripeless" baby albino. i loved the way it looked, but as it grew older, the color in the stripes became more pronouced. it was still a pretty fish.

nice

I saw one for sale at Petsmart yesterday...it was under Albino Tiger Oscars, but it was completely white. I was tempted, but I have no room and my Oscar's acting weird. I've only had 2 Oscars (including this one) and both have had their issues. It seems that a lot of Oscars have issues. My first one would lay on it's side all the time as if it was going to die, but it was completely healthy and the current one I have now likes to have seizures at night, wakes me up, and splashes water on me. :swear:

re: "Albinism is the lack of a color of pigment."

I haven't had a tan for 5 months. I think I'm albino.

If it turns out to be a Lutino, this is what it may end up looking like. He / she is a about 6" right now but was only 2.5 when I got him / her.
