Here's he view from the kitchen window. The guys are finishing it off nicely with stone from the street. They also did a nice little slate tile work around the edges.
Here are some picks from the other 3,000 pond that has 35 Guapotes or Dovii's in it. The number says that is should be green as hell. Not too bad eh. Its green on the bottom because I sweep it about once every 3 months. I havn't used the uv light for about a year now. I've just been feeding them liver though which I think they metabolized pretty well so they probably don't crap to much. Unlike alot of the commercial foods down here.
What do you guys think would be the best way to clean the bottom of the pond/pool. Here's a system that the guys here came up with to clean the bottom. The filter cartridge was clogging up pretty fast. Then again, its the first cleaning.
My other idea would be to have another pump in the pump room and have the outlet empty into my own filter/settling that would surely hold more then that little filter this guys brought.
