Sculpins are cool...surprised that anyone got one while smelting...the deepwaters are literally...in deep water. Same with the spoonheads.

yeah i get that but this fish is 100% fresh and by no means a deep water fish....im a little confused?

Picked up a mottled sculpin from my local bait shop, figured I'd save him instead of having him dangling at the end of a fishing line. Glad I did, it's been a long time since I've kept a sculpin of any sort.
