So, i am bored and depressed so i post pictures of blue -based and red (found some in the camera) ... these were the best one... <sigh> ... DSLR i need now i think
Note the shine of the blue and red is also coloring up. X-back is just shiny but not quite golden (eats the most though) ^^
Blue is a picky eater. ... and eats very little (but at least daily). X-back is a pig while red is somewhere in between. I am yet to make red and blue to take hikari only X-back indulges in manufactured food

Oh yes, i have a confirmation from home - RED is taking HIKARI now

Quick Update with no pix =(
The aros are fine. I have lost the battle of the wills and got them small frogs. X-back has grown considerably and so have red (comparing to blue).
Before x-back ate pellets and shrimp - but not anymore so i got desperate and got them some live food (geckos and small frogs). Manage to get x-back to start eating again.
There is no serious fighting between the three but there is under current - they puff at each other but feed OK. No damage on the red and BB but x-back is looking a little bit worse for wear on one side (visible under white light only).
Pix coming soon. Red is coloring up nicely (orange now especially on the cheeks). BB is same-ish. X-back is bigger but elongated not really fat as i expected he would be

Thanks bro. The remaining fishies are doing fine but are really picky eaters =S
Good thing that heaters were in place - it is unusually cold this year.... i am worrid for outside set-up though
