I am not really sure what you are trying to say here but let me clarify my previous statement.

Use a digital scale when dosing this product or other similar ones. I have one. I use it to measure this product and others when dosing. I bought it from Amazon. It is very useful, accurate and inexpensive. I hope this helps. Thanks.

Interesting read... going to go shopping for this bactri pond asap!! .. Now to my question, has anyone used these products with fry, 4 weeks old or less? I am interested in trying these products in all my tanks but one that concerns me the most is my fry tank. The fry ended up in their current home by accident so it isn't as bare as it could be. It is difficult to clean for fear of siphoning out the fry... hoping perhaps a product like this can help keep the environ clean for them, but at the same time can these products make it too clean?
 
I can't think of any reason why this would have a negative effect on the health of fry, quite the opposite as far as the studies that involve commercial aquaculture and fry/juvies.
 
Ok, just placed my order for Bactri pond, hopefully it will be here middle of the week. Looks like for $50 I have a lifetime supply of the stuff.
 
So much information within just the first 10 pages... Will have to finish the last half later.

Anyways, RD. what product do you recommend since originally using the septobac? Looking to add some probiotics to my tanks
 
I suspect that most products are fairly similar with regards to the bacteria used, so I would recommend using whatever product is easiest and cheapest to find in your area.
