Cheap plants, less nitrate! POTHOS

Getting some crazy growth on my plants. Pothos have no noticable growth over a 3 week period, coleus have grown 1", bamboo no noticable growth, morning glory vine has grown 4" in just 2 weeks.

Sent from my SCH-S738C using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

I've put coleus in the tank and they browned up and died, how did u add urs to the tank? I took mine from the soil, cut a bit of the roots and put it in the tank. It died few weeks later :( Photos are growing slow and the umbrella plant is budding and growing roots. I also have wandering jew plant cuttings in there too but it still didn't grown any roots yet.

What's the tank and stock and wc schedule? May not be enough ammonia/nitrate for all the plants. Depending on it you may want to add some fertz.

Well it's about 200gal and I have in there 2 Gt's, 2 texas, 6 clown loaches, E. frenum, E. bicolor, all 2-3 inches and 2 Joselimaianus plecos around 4" and a pair of convicts
WC schedule is 30% weekly
The plants I have are: 1 stem of pothos, 3 wandering jew cuttings (that haven't let roots out yet), 5 umbrella plant stems that just started rooting and budding. 2 small Coleus plants unfortunately browned up and died although they had roots in soil before I uprooted them, then I cut an inch of the roots and put them in the tank. Maybe I shouldn't have cut the roots?

Cutting the roots tends to help. You have pretty small fish for a 200gal. Could be lack of fish waste. Try overfeeding a tad and perhaps test your nitrate/ammonia levels.

Do you have a pic of the said "pothos?"

Thanks!

The good thing about pothos is the ease of planting. Hob's, sumps etc. One of my tanks has a 1/2" gap and the roots fit in fine and the thrives. Once the roots are submerged the plant will take off.
