Gar Identification - Post your Gar to be ID'd HERE!!

Can somebody tell me how much it would cost to have DNA analyzed, or ? I am not convinced that my smaller gar is a Florida Gar now, that I can compare it to my Spotted.

your other fish is very likely a FLG, not another SPG. there are subtleties, but nothing 100% without close inspection and/or DNA. DNA analysis is not cheap either, you also need the correct primers and sequenced loci for the right species/species comparisons.--
