I have a new love for tetras. I never expected to be as pleased with them as I am.
Those are some amaziam green terrors, can i ask how long they took to grow to that sizes?

It probably took about a year or so for the male to reach 10 inches and the females around 5 or 6.
Little update.
I've added a group of 6 juvenile Mesanauta festivum and a harem of Apistogramma trifasciata .
The Apistogramma are tiny and have not really coloured up yet but they are starting to settle in ok.
You can see just how tiny the trifasciata are next to this ram.
Festivums
I have also had some spawning going on,not by any of the cichlids mind.
My group of ancistrus have had at least 2 spawns since adding them.
I think a lot of these may survive left to their own devices . They seem to be well hidden among the leaf litter and seed pods.

Yes it's real leaf litter.
I bought 200 catappa leaves but the rest I collect myself. The leaves I collect are oak,beech, maple and hawthorn. I just poor boiling water over them before adding to the tank.
