ok folks, got the sump pretty much all done. she aint pretty but itll work :) the railing to support the driptray and eggcrate is sweet! im having a hard time finding the plastic pegboard at the lowes near me, so thats the only thing keeping me from finishing the sump.

very nice J, excellent work; the panes look perfectly square. How did you hold them in place while applying the silicone? Will you be keeping your heaters in there as well? What are you planning to use for bio?

duct tape, great idea. What size tank will this sump be supporting? Are you planning on incorporating a top off/water change system? Again, great job man.

thx! well im in the process of looking for a 360g or bigger. i prob should have done bigger, but i think a 100g+ sump is just over kill. i also plan on running two FX5s on the tank.

na, no auto water changer/top off. i usually do 50% water changes every week. when i do, ill fill up the sump with extra water, so by the time the weekend comes around, there's still enough water in there to cover the pump and keep everything running :)

Lookin' goo J. If you don't mind me asking, how'd you do the railing for the dip tray and egg crate? Just strips of glass? I was jst going to use a few pieces of PVC as legs.
