should be FINALLY running on my 150g in the next couple weeks. i cant find plastic pegboard anymore at my local lowes so i need something else for the drip plate. might have to use some acrylic or a sheet of abs

How could you make this into a better system that will achieve great water filtration? Would placing ceramic rings, carbon and sponges make it better? Also for the sealing around the "peg board" you could attach some pieces of rubber so the board is held tight.
awesome design. Need to build a sump for my tank i'm building. Trying to figure out what size sump for my 300 gallon.

Where can I get filter socks like that?
All the ones I've seen are draw string type. Witch doesn't really work with an open hold plate to hole them in place?

i got it from a LFS for about $30. came with the filter sock and the base that attaches to the rim of the tank. they had 4" and 7" ones. i wanna say that its made by jebo or jbj but i cant remember for sure
