That fish is the whole reason i talked my girlfriend into letting me build a 1200 gallon pond when we move at the start of the year. Congratulations to you sir.
Thank you

beautiful fish and I am glad to see the bottom of the pond. I may be building a pond for a customer in the near future and I have learned alot from you. I hope I can do it justice. I love your pond
Thank buddy.

I've took a couple of the starter fish out today and gave them to my Dad for his pond. He's struggled with fish loses over the winter and needs a few fish. Pain to catch even though the pond is clear they are really quick and have a lot of water to get away into.

His pond is much smaller and more ornamental than ours, but they've settled in fine.

Added clay in the week, water good, added a new sturgeon and a Shusui

Both doing well

Sorry I've not updated, I'll try to be more active, just got other things on the go. I'll get some pictures up of the additions at the weekend.

Here's a quick snap of the sieve, something I now consider essential when planning a pond build as a pre-filter. This was cleaned two days ago, today:

I'd say that is one hell-of-a-prefilter...Look at that slimey sludge it pulls out of the water...That IS one effective pond filter component.!
